Love always creates fear because love is death, a greater death than the ordinary death you know of.
In an ordinary death the body dies, but that is not death at all. Body is just like a dress; when it is tatty and old you change it for a new one. It is not death, it is just a change: a change of a dress, or a change of a house or abode. But you continue, the mind continues – just the same old mind in new bodies, just the same old wine in new bottles. The form changes but not the mind, the shape changes but not the mind. So the ordinary death is not a real death. Love is a real death: the body does not die but the mind dies, the body continues to be the same but the ego disappears.
If you love, you will have to drop all the conceptions that you have about yourself. If you love, you cannot be the ego because the ego will not allow love. They are antagonistic. If you choose the ego you will not be able to choose love. If you choose love you will have to drop the ego. Hence, the fear.
A greater fear than death grips you whenever you are in love. That’s why love has disappeared from the world. Rarely, very rarely does the phenomenon happen that love descends. What you call love is just a false coin: you have invented it because it is so difficult to live without love. It is difficult because without love, life carries no meaning; it is meaningless. Without love, life has no poetry in it. Without love, the tree exists but never flowers. Without love, you cannot dance, you cannot celebrate, you cannot feel grateful, you cannot pray.
Without love, temples are just ordinary houses; with love an ordinary house is transformed, transfigured into a temple. Without love you remain just possibilities – empty gestures; with love, for the first time you become substantial. With love, for the first time, the soul arises in you; the ego drops but the soul arises.
It is impossible to live without love, so humanity has created a trick. Humanity has invented a trick, a device. The device is: to live in a false love so that the ego continues on its own. Nothing is changed, and you can play the game of being in love: you can go on thinking that you love, you can go on believing that you love. But look at your love – what happens out of it? – nothing except misery, nothing except hell, nothing except conflict, quarrel, violence. Look deeply into your love relationships. They are more akin to hate relationships than to love. It is better to call them hate relationships than to call them love relationships.
But because everybody is living in the same way, you never become aware. Everybody is carrying the false coin; you never become aware. The real coin of love is very costly: you can purchase it only at the cost of losing yourself. There is no other way.
Be courageous, don’t be cowards. The real mettle of your being is tested only when love arises. Never before it do you know of what mettle you are made. In ordinary life, in the marketplace, doing this and that, in the world of ambition and power politics, your real mettle is never really tested. You never pass through the fire.
Love is the fire. If you are really gold you will survive it. If you are not real gold, you will be gone. But I tell you that you are real gold.
Trust me – pass through the fire. Hesitation is natural, but don’t make hesitation a barrier. Even with the hesitation, pass through it. In spite of the fear pass through the fire. And only through the fire will the rose of your consciousness flower. There is no other way.

On the way back to Europe, we had dinner at Indigo, Mumbai’s fine fusion of European and Indian cuisine. Just ten minutes later we were taking a taxi to the airport, and instead of the usual Mumbai marine drive, the driver took the Dharavi route because of the congested traffic. Minutes after leaving Colaba, the cosmopolitan mix of cultures, we are sucked into Asia’s largest slums. We stare out of the window and have difficulties digesting our dinner. Nothing could create a bigger contrast to the sophisticated atmosphere of the restaurant, where elegantly dressed Indians mix with European expats and tourists. From just outside the car we were offered an extremely disturbing look at the other reality of today’s India, alarming poverty and overpopulation. We had seen poor suburbs of Mumbai before, but the hour long drive through the slums was overpowering. The driver sped up, trying to spare us the sight, almost hitting the kids living in the tiny makeshift houses built on the road. The ride combined with the troubling scenery made me feel physically unwell. All the impressions of India came together, the new opportunities, the fast growing economy, the reality of the slums, the kindness of people, the eagerness to improve, and the resignation to fate. India is a country where all these contrasts coexist and if you see only one part it simply means that you ignored the others.

The future will be eco-friendly and extremely technological, that’s what Microsoft is promissing in its new video, Microsoft Sustainability, a collaboration between Seattle’s Oh Hello and the company.

The video is a glimpse of their future projects, like the one they presented at the end of 2007 called Surface which doesn’t relay on the use of a keyboard or a mouse for interaction, rather using its 30 inch screen for connectivity. To connect the computer with a cellphone, for example, you just have to put it on top of the screen.

More than just touchscreen, augmented reality and millions of technologies will be developed to make life easier, so that until 2019 the world will be much more eco-friendly.

What is Recession?

This story is about a man who once upon a time was selling Hotdogs by the roadside. He was illiterate, so he never read newspapers. He was hard of hearing, so he never listened to the radio. His eyes were weak, so he never watched television. But enthusiastically, he sold lots of hotdogs. He was smart enough to offer some attractive schemes to increase his sales. His sales and profit went up. He ordered more a more raw material and buns and sold more. He recruited more supporting staff to serve more customers. He started offering home deliveries. Eventually he got himself a bigger and better stove. As his business was growing, the son, who had recently graduated from college, joined his father.

Then something strange happened.

The son asked, “Dad, aren’t you aware of the great recession that is coming our way?” The father replied, “No, but tell me about it.” The son said, “The international situation is terrible. The domestic situation is even worse. We should be prepared for the coming bad times.”

The man thought that since his son had been to college, read the papers, listened to the radio and watched TV. He ought to know and his advice should not be taken lightly. So the next day onwards, the father cut down the his raw material order and buns, took down the colourful signboard, removed all the special schemes he was offering to the customers and was no longer as enthusiastic. He reduced his staff strength by giving layoffs. Very soon, fewer and fewer people bothered to stop at his Hotdog stand. And his sales started coming down rapidly and so did the profit. The father said to his son, “Son, you were right”. “We are in the middle of a recession and crisis. I am glad you warned me ahead of time.”

Moral of the Story: It’s all in your MIND! And we actually FUEL this recession much more than we think.

What is school for?

Seems like a simple question, but given how much time and money we spend on it, it has a wide range of answers, many unexplored, some contradictory. I have a few thoughts about education, how we use it to market ourselves and compete, and I realized that without a common place to start, it's hard to figure out what to do.

So, a starter list. The purpose of school is to:

Become an informed citizen
Be able to read for pleasure
Be trained in the rudimentary skills necessary for employment
Do well on standardized tests
Homogenize society, at least a bit
Pasteurize out the dangerous ideas
Give kids something to do while parents work
Teach future citizens how to conform
Teach future consumers how to desire
Build a social fabric
Create leaders who help us compete on a world stage
Generate future scientists who will advance medicine and technology
Learn for the sake of learning
Help people become interesting and productive
Defang the proletariat
Establish a floor below which a typical person is unlikely to fall
Find and celebrate prodigies, geniuses and the gifted
Make sure kids learn to exercise, eat right and avoid common health problems
Teach future citizens to obey authority
Teach future employees to do the same
Increase appreciation for art and culture
Teach creativity and problem solving
Minimize public spelling mistakes
Increase emotional intelligence
Decrease crime by teaching civics and ethics
Increase understanding of a life well lived
Make sure the sports teams have enough players

Virtual world is where I used to let lose myself and flow with the feelings and emotions of that minute which gave me immense power to express myself... I use to blabber, gossip, chatter, share, ... I was true to myself while doing all this... but never realized the person on other side of window is just merely an avatar with profile picture screaming yes that's me, custom message which portray false ideologies, status with merely red and green dots...... no eye gazes, no unspoken silence, no gestures... just these yellow smileys who can emote us....avatar as it clearly states is just a mask... How human can be substituted by a window ?

Lets first rely on human being made of flesh and bones rather than a window who is a hollow person an avatar...

My big fat mouth speaks all these shitty thing all the times, doesn't think of others....i can't control my own mouth for a sec....i act like a blabbermouth... is it mine or someone else's...

Brain sends statutory warning... "no you are not opening"... but some sudden punch open it wide apart and everything is puked out.....

Weekend is gone. Now here i am again cribbing about the same.
Thinking not to think. Making commitment to myself that i will do something but that something took my whole weekend and still there is this unknown thought which keeps on popping in my mind, which leaves me blank and i keep on pondering for hours.
My thoughts are like stupid ideas which want to get rid of my head and flew away in this free sky where they can identify them self.
Freedom to do anything is leading me to nothing.
Why other people look so happy? are they not suffering from this itching ? why me ?
Loads of unsolved question keeps on loitering around which leads to emptiness...this itching is irritating me..
